PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector and a shield terminal unit which can aim an improvement in grounding reliability and grounding characteristics while reducing the number of contacts of the grounding path between an outer conductor terminal section of the shield terminal unit and attachment components, and can omit an insulation barrel of the shield terminal unit while preventing damages on connection sections of electric wires and terminals at time of insertion in the connector housing of the shield terminal unit, and can shorten the terminal length of the shield terminal unit, and can equip the shield terminal unit certainly to a predetermined position of the connector housing. SOLUTION: In the shield connector, a conductive grounding element 35 integrated with an outer conductor terminal section 33 of a shield terminal unit 13 which is to be mounted, is pulled out to the exterior of the connector housing, and is directly contacted electrically to a conductive attaching plate in which the shield connector is attached, and is grounded.
