PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an engine with high output and low fuel consumption by solving power shortage during low rotation (low supercharging) of the engine with a supercharger, and preventing knocking during supercharging. SOLUTION: (1) An intake pipe is provided with a control valve opened/closed by a cam, and the phase of the cam is changed to variably control the opening/ closing timing of the control valve. (2) An intake pipe is provided with a control valve opened/closed by a cam mechanism with a lift change-over function, and the phase of the cam is changed to variably control the opening/closing timing of the control valve. (3) An intake pipe is provided with a control valve opened/closed by an electromagnet, and an electric signal to the electromagnet is changed to variably control the opening/closing timing of the control valve.
