PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively and surely confirm the safety of an aged person, etc., who lives alone. SOLUTION: At least one matter to be used by an objective person in order to live his/her everyday life in a house H of a safety confirming objective person such as an aged person is provided with a sensor for detecting the number of the operating times of the matter. In the case of providing a sensor S5 at the door of a toilet, e.g. opening/closing of the door is outputted by radio or through a cable to an automatic signal originator 1 from the sensor S5. When receiving this signal, the originator 1 dials up to a safety confirming center 2 through a telephone line TEL by using a number display function. The center 2 specifies the objective person by this number display and counts once dial up as the operation signal of the sensor. This counted number within a unit time is compared with that in the everyday life of the objective person, which is measured actually in advance, to guess the safety of the objective person. In the case of judging 'abnormality', it is reported to the portable telephone set of a supporter by an electronic mail, etc., and the supporter hurries to the house of the objective person.
