PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication terminal equipment, capable of easily notifying and re-registering a new telephone number accompanying machine kind changes. SOLUTION: When electronic mail by a number notifying mode is transmitted from the electronic mail server of the Internet, a control part 7 displays the presence of the call termination of the number notifying mode and the name, old telephone number and new telephone number of Taro Yamada who is notifying person. When a user instructs registration, the control part 7 retrieves a telephone/electronic mail memory, determines whether the old telephone number is registered, and when it is determined that it has been registered, displays that it is already registered together with the name (Taro-kun, for instance) which corresponds to the number and confirms whether to replace it with the new telephone number. When the user instructs replacement, the control part 7 replaces the old telephone number stored in the telephone/electronic mail memory with the new telephone number and ends.
