PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device provided with CAM, in which high speed operation is realized and which has simple constitution and is easy to use. SOLUTION: Plural memory cells provided with a pair of transmission gate MOSFET which performs transmission of stored information between a pair of complementary input/output node of a latch circuit and a pair of complementary data line and a comparison logic circuit receiving a pair of complementary stored information held in the latch circuit and a signal of the pair of complementary data line, are provided in plural complementary data lines respectively, retrieved data consisting of plural bits are transmitted to the plural complementary data lines, a gate of the transmission gate MOSFET of the memory cell is connected commonly to a word line arranged corresponding to the plural complementary data line, a match latch line is provided in parallel to the word line and the comparison logic circuit is connected to wired logic constitution, the match line is pre-chared to near logic threshold voltage, and it is discriminated from the logic threshold voltage by the comparison logic circuit of the memory cell whether discharge is performed or not.
