PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide beam shutters integrated into a neutron scattering device capable of functioning effectively with a simple and rational formation, and improving efficiency of a replacement/maintenance work of a neutron guide pipe/collimator unit. SOLUTION: In these beam shutters of the neutron scattering device formed by arraying plural beam shutters in the radial direction around a target radiation source chamber, a disc-shaped valve element journalled rotatavely around a center axis with the neutron guide pipe/collimator unit penetrating inside is installed, and the circumferential end face of the valve element is formed in a recessed face for avoiding interference with the neutron guide pipe/ collimator unit, and double end teeth of a worm wheel are formed there, and a worm gear interlocking with the worm wheel, facing to the circumferential end face of the valve element, is installed, to thereby facilitate close disposal of mutual adjacent valve elements.
