METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DATABASE FOR ELECTRONIC COMMERCE MEDIATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contents from becoming old-fashioned by constituting an open system, to generate no difference among the acquired information amounts of buyers, and to remove trouble of computer system cooperation. SOLUTION: A mediator's database stores; browsing data generated by standardizing pieces of property information regarding the same products (or service) that different suppliers supply so that they can be browsed while contrasted with one another; and nonbrowsing data including dealing conditions set by combinations of suppliers and buyers. A buyer reads out and browses the browsing data from the mediator's database through a data communication network and selects a product that the user desires to buy. The buyer applies for the purchase of the selected product to the mediator. The mediator reads dealing conditions, which are different by buyers applying for dealings, out of the nonbrowsing data and makes and presents an estimate to the buyer. The buyer determines purchase conditions with the supplier according to the presented estimate and the mediator follows ordering and order reception procedures according to the determined purchase conditions on behalf of the buyer and supplier.
