PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admission management method and system which facilitate the admission management by a terminal and to provide the terminal used for the system. SOLUTION: A server providing system 1 makes a portable information terminal 10 hold an admission information flag corresponding to whether a user is not a member or already a member and transmits this admission information flag to a service providing server 20 when admission processing is performed. Then the service providing server 20 allows admission once the portable information terminal 10 judges that the user is not a member from the admission information flag when the admission processing is performed and updates the admission information flag that the portable information terminal 10 holes into an admission information flag corresponding to the admission.
