PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent plug for a battery having a simple and convenient form. SOLUTION: The vent plug passing through a lid 12 and fixed to the lid 12 of the battery has a second part 17 comprising a cylindrical member having a baffle mechanism on the inside and composed of two half-cylinders 19, 21 divided in the axis direction, two half cylinders 19, 21 are joined each other with a soft member at one faced axis direction edge so as to be capable of opening and closing, and the baffle mechanism is integratedly formed in one half cylinder 21 so as to position within the cylindrical member when two half cylinders 19, 21 are closed. |
