PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for dynamo-electric machine which has full high strength and is capable of fully reducing leakage flux. SOLUTION: To reduce short-circuit components of magnetic flux within a rotor core 11, the shape of a plurality of slits 11a formed at the rotor core 11 has a tab tail wedge section 11b on the way. Moreover, slits 11a are filled with a filler 13 formed of marageing steel, which is nonmagnetic material and has high strength.
