PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hands-free device capable of controlling the directivity of an audio input/output in the direction of a speaker by specifying the position of the speaker. SOLUTION: This device is provided with plural microphones 12, an audio recognizing circuit 13 for recognizing the audio signal of a specified speaker 15 out of audio signals inputted to the respective microphones and a direction specifying means 14 for specifying the direction of the speaker from the audio signals of speakers inputted to the respective microophones. Phase and amplitude of the audio signals of the specified speaker are detected out of the audio signals inputted to the respective microphones, and the direction of the speaker is specified on the basis of the information of this phase or amplitude. Besides, by adding audio signals by weighting the phases or amplitudes of audio signals inputted to the respective microphones, the directivity of the microphones is enhanced in the direction of the speaker. Even in the environment of high noises, the S/N of audio inputs can be improved.
