PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic-wave shielding plate which can be manufactured simply even when it is large-sized and whose electromagnetic-wave shielding property and visibility are superior. SOLUTION: In one electromagnetic-wave shielding plate, a conductive geometric pattern is formed on a transparent substrate (1). The geometric pattern is constituted of an innermost layer (21) which is formed of a resin composition containing a metal and/or an inorganic substance, a first conductive layer (22) which is formed on the surface of the innermost layer by an electroless plating operation, and a second conductive layer (23) which is formed on the surface of the first conductive layer by an electroless plating operation. In another electromagnetic-wave shielding plate, a geometric pattern is lattice-shaped, and it is constituted of an innermost layer which is formed of the resin composition by a printing operation in such a way that the direction of its lattices is at 5 to 85 deg. to a printing direction, and a conductive layer which is formed on the surface of the innermost layer by a plating operation. The shielding plates are useful as a front plate for a display. Also a manufacturing method for the shielding plates is provided.
