PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that obtains strong deodorization operation by a deodorization device and at the same time does not require any special handling in disposal. SOLUTION: A space discharge mechanism 73, a photocatalyst module 74, and an ozone decomposition catalyst 75 are arranged in a blowing path 71 of a deodorization device 11 that is arranged in the cold air passage of this refrigerator, the photocatalyst module 74 is allowed to perform a photocatalyst action by ultraviolet rays being generated by the high-voltage discharge of the space discharge mechanism 73, and a foul constituent and a harmful constituent contained in cold air in the refrigerator are oxidized and decomposed by an ozone decomposition action by ozone being generated by the high-voltage discharge and the ozone decomposition catalyst 75. |
