PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily manufacturable electrolyte excellent in the mechanical strength and ion conductivity and also provide a battery using such electrolyte. SOLUTION: A positive electrode 11 and a negative electrode 12 are laminated with an electrolyte layer 13 interposed and are encapsulated in an armouring member 14. The electrolyte layer 13 consists of a woven or non-woven cloth and is furnished with an inorganic electrolyte consisting of a woven or non- woven cloth and having lithium ion conductivity and an organic electrolyte containing high-polymer compound and lithium salt and having lithium ion conductivity. The inorganic electrolyte gives a high mechanical strength, while combination of inorganic and organic electrolytes eliminates the risk of degradation of the ion conductivity owing to the organic electrolyte, and thereby a high ion conductivity is obtained. |
