HAND-OVER CONTROL METHOD AND MOBILE STATION DEVICE PERFORMING THE CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-over control method by which a speech is smoothly continued by minimizing the mute time in the case of hand-over during a speech to the utmost in mobile communication. SOLUTION: While two slots among communication slots 0-7 in a frame subjected to time division multiplex processing are used to send/receive data to/from a 1st base station 1, when a reception electric field level reaches a set reference value or below as shown in Fig.(a), a notice signal from another base stations is retrieved by using remaining idle slots as shown in Fig.(b), a mobile station sets up a link channel with an object base station while keeping a speech with the 1st base station 1 as shown in Fig.(c) and (d) to conduct TCH synchronization and CONNECT reception. When the time of receiving the CONNECT (speech enable signal) comes, the mobile station stops the speech with the 1st base station 1 and switches to data transmission reception with the candidate base station and completes the hand-over through a speech or data communication.
