PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make melted snow flow through a drain port without performing a special operation by a worker even if the melted snow is frozen in a snow melting machine for disposal of snow in a snowy area. SOLUTION: A drain port lid 8 for covering a drain port 7 is provided in the front of the drain port 7, a general water passing port is provided in a position lower than a regulated level of the drain port lid 8, an emergency water passing port is provided in a position higher than the regulated level, and an exhaust interrupting plate 9 for blocking the emergency water passing port is provided on the drain port 7 side of the emergency water passing port, so that the melted snow pushes the exhaust interrupting plate 9 and flows out in an emergency where the level of the melted snow exceeds the regulated level.
