METHOD FOR BRAKING ROTARY MARKING PLATE MD DEVICE FOR BRAKING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking technique which is easily and surely capable of braking the rotation of the board of a rotary marking plate by using a device of a simple mechanism and eliminates the possibility of wearing the component members of the marking plate. SOLUTION: The vertical slide of a slide type stopper 17 is guided by a guide rail member 15 mounted at a strut 1. Detaining projection lines 17b are formed at this slide type stopper 17 and engage with detaining grooves 4g of a board 4 to brake the rotation of the board 4 when the stopper ascends. When the slide type stopper 17 is lowered, the detaining projection lines 17b go out of the detaining grooves 4g and therefore the brake of the board 4 is released.
