PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise at the time of disengagement for a sprocket. SOLUTION: Between inner plates 4, 4 which are adjacent each other in front and rear directions of an arrow A direction and are wound on a large sprocket 21, a flank part 40B of a tooth part 5B of the inner plate 4 of the rear side is formed by being arranged so as to be projected from a crotch part 41A of a tooth part 5A of the inner plate 4 of the front side overlapped with the flank part 40B. As a result, the contact of the silent chain 1 and the large sprocket 21 at the time of disengagement is performed by a two-step type transferring from the flank part 40B to the crotch part 41A and force received by the silent chain 1 is dispersed.
