PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose stereoscopic display interface and its software for a computer system where many kinds and diversified video cards and monitors are functioned in various frequencies with various resolutions. SOLUTION: The method that employs a computer system provided with a monitor having a screen for stereoscopic display and for generating its stereoscopic display, includes a step (A) where vertical synchronizing pulses are used and video signal data by one image pattern displayed on the monitor and transmitted between the vertical synchronizing pulses are generated, a step (B) where the number of horizontal scanning lines between the vertical synchronizing pulses is obtained, and a step (C) where the vertical synchronizing pulse is inserted to the video signal data when a half of the horizontal scanning lines is transmitted, and the video signal data by a half screen image generated by the steps (A) through (C) are given to the monitor, on the entire screen of which the video signal data are displayed. |
