PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic information embedding device that dynamically embeds information to a digital contents image depending on the contents of the digital contents image. SOLUTION: The electronic information embedding device is provided with an input section 501 that receives an image, a feature quantity investigation section 502 that detects the feature quantity of at least part of the areas of the received image, and an information embedding section 504 that changes the area depending on the detected feature quantity. Since the area is changed according to the detected feature quantity, the electronic information embedding device embeds information to the image depending on contents of the image.
