<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately correspond to the communication situation change of each connection and to notify a data cell transmitting side of the information of an allowable transmission band that is fair to each connection. SOLUTION: This cell receiver transmits the information of the allowable transmission band of each connection define based on the information, etc., of the active transmission band of each connection to a cell transmitter. The cell receiver has a means for calculating a band obtained by adding an excess band viewed from the whole connections to the active transmission band of the connection as the allowable transmission band, a means for deciding the allowable transmission band minimum value of each connection by utilizing the total sum of minimum certified transmission bands declared about the whole connections 'busy', and a means for transmitting the decided allowable transmission band minimum value to the cell transmitter in place of the calculated allowable transmission band when a prescribed condition is established. This traffic control system includes such a cell receiver.</p> |
