PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide combustion equipment for solid fuel which can be improved in combustion efficiency by uniformly scattering solid fuel and can efficiently generate carbon monoxide and hydrogen by adjusting the oxygen ratio. SOLUTION: The screw shaft 13 of a screw type conveying means 12 which conveys the solid fuel is formed in a hollow shaft into which an oxygen burner 14 or an oxygen nozzle can be inserted and, at the same time, oxygen nozzles 16 for burning solid fuel are provided on the outer periphery of the screw casing 15 of the conveying means 12.
