PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photosensitive material excellent in color reproducibility and giving an image having improved preservability, particularly such improved image stability as not to cause unfavorable stain under irradiation with light. SOLUTION: In the silver halide photographic sensitive material with at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the base, at least one silver halide emulsion layer contains one or more of two-equivalent cyan dye forming couplers of formulae (C-l) and (C-2) and further contains a compound of formula (1).
