PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient water stop property by reliably filling a solidifying agent in a pipe without requiring washing of it for a water stop. SOLUTION: The bottom face of a joint pipe 14 connected to a steel pipe sheet pile to be erected next within the joint pipes 14 and 16 provided on both sides of the main body 12 of the steel pipe sheet pile 10 is closed with a bottom cover 18. A pipe 20 closing a slit 14a formed in the vertical direction of the joint pipe 14 is removably arranged in the joint pipe, a delayed solidifying agent 36 is filled in the joint pipe 20 after the steel pipe sheet pile 10 is erected, then a quantity of the delayed solidifying agent 36 corresponding to the volume of the pipe 20 is additionally filled when the pipe 20 is extracted.
