PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the high-rate discharge characteristic of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using polymer electrolyte. SOLUTION: An electrode sheet 10 is passed through a polymer solution and pinched by squeeze rolls 24 to remove excessive polymer solution from the surface, and then a non-heated air is sprayed in film form to the surface of the electrode sheet 10 from a nozzle 28 having a slit extending in the direction across the width of the sheet 10 so that the excessive polyer solution is removed completely.
