PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a background while preventing a camera shake at photographing with flash light as auxiliary illuminating light. SOLUTION: At flash-photographing, a shutter speed Tv is decided in accordance with the decrease of an object luminance Bv when an object luminance is >= a 1st object luminance Bv5 corresponding to the shutter speed Tv5 (1/30 second) as the limit of preventing the camera shake, and the shutter speed Tv is fixed at the shutter speed Tv5 (1/30 second) which is the limit of preventing the camera shake when the object luminance is within the extent from the 1st object luminance Bv5 to a 2nd object luminance Bv3 causing the underexposure by the amount of a prescribed exposure value 2EV, and when the object luminance is equal to or below the 2nd object luminance, the shutter speed is lowered in accordance with the reduction of the object luminance. Thus, at flash-photographing with the flash light as the auxiliary illuminating light, the shutter speed is fixed comparatively high for photographing indoors, and hence a picture free from the deterioration of image quality due to the camera shake is obtained. Besides, even for photographing a figure standing in a night background, the background is prevented from becoming dark in a picture, and the picture with the clearly reproduced background is obtained. |
