<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with a portable computer having a wide range display positions. SOLUTION: A computer 20 is provided with a computer main body 22 formed as a module having machine connectors 104, 106/130, 132/120, 122/140, and 142 fitting into each other, a display 28, and a linking mechanism 36. The computer main body 22 is directly mounted to the display 28, or indirectly mounted through the linking mechanism 36 to the display 28 with the machine connectors fit into each other. The display 28 is constituted so as to be rotatable with a bottom edge 34 of the display 28 as a center and at an arbitrary angle among a plurality of display angles by using the linking mechanism 36 so that the display 28 can be directed to a plurality of positions on the computer main body 22. It is desired that the linking mechanism 36 is stabilized and locked at selected angular positions by stabilizer mechanisms 280 and 282.</p> |
