PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with a fixing device where temperature ripple is restrained to be small with simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this image forming device equipped with the fixing device where an image formed on a recording medium is fixed by a heating means incorporating a lamp heater 3, heating by the heating means is controlled by controlling the turning-on of the lamp heater 3 with the half of the amplitude cycle of an AC power source used for controlling the driving of the image forming device as a unit.
