PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently conduct the recovery works of cutting chips generated by the cutting of a tunnel wall surface by simple work procedure. SOLUTION: Cutting chips generated by cutting the wall surface of a tunnel T by a cutting tool 17 installed in front of a machine body 1 are carried from the front section of the machine body 1 to a rear section by a belt conveyor 24 mounted on the machine body 1, and carried outside the tunnel from the rear section. A dust collecting means and the placing means of fresh concrete or the like can be arranged arbitrarily in the front, and work procedure is simplified and operating efficiency can be improved because the belt conveyor 24 is moved together with the machine body 1.
