PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shell cutting device for dividing a shell into equal halves to manufacture hemispherical shells of the same shape and for boring a fuse hole in the apex of each hemispherical shell. SOLUTION: The shell cutting device 1 has a base part 2 allowing a sphere to be placed thereon and having a rotatable, approximately disc-shaped base member 21 on a vertically movable shaft provided along its axis; a first clamping part 3 being able to clamp the sphere and having a rotatable, approximately disc-shaped first clamping member 31 on a shaft provided along its axis; a second clamping part 4 provided in a position opposite to the first clamping part 3, the second clamping part being able to clamp the sphere and having a rotatable, approximately disc-shaped second clamping member 41 on a shaft provided along its axis; and a circular saw machine 5 having a circular saw 51 for cutting only the shell.
