PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an openable handy catching net having an openable frame capable of being closed by the inertial force acting on the frame body when stopping the movement of the hand under a catching operation. SOLUTION: This openable handy catching net has the frame body forming the opening frame 2 of a net bag 6, divided into two equal parts one 21 of which is fixed to a handle 1, and the other 22 of which is fitted into the handle 1 at one side and attached to a hinge 4 of the frame body 21 at the other side so that both thereof may be freely rotated.
