PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand mirror for putting makeup, which is made easier to use for aged people or people who need rehabilitation. SOLUTION: On the back surface of a mirror body 1, on the front surface of which a mirror 2 is attached, a shaft hole 3 is provided. Then, a holding section 4 which is equipped with a shaft section 7 having a non-return claw 6 on the distal end, and pinching pieces 5 on both sides is fitted in the shaft hole 3. Finger tips of the palm which is made to go along the back surface side of the mirror body 1 are passed between both pinching pieces 5 of the holding section 4 and the back surface of the mirror body 1. Thus, the mirror 2 can be seen when the palm is faced inside.
