PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-resistant tree-holding reel so designed as to lighten itself by pushing up an operation part provided for nipping ropes (made of straw) so that the load given from the operation part is shared on a pole, and also to enable even synthetic fiber ropes to be surely fixed, and to provide such a pole. SOLUTION: This snow-resistant tree-holding reel comprises a rope receiver 1 having a rectangular parallelopiped profile and a rope holder 4 where a rope is led to the rope receiver via a spring so as to freely put the rope in and out with a necessary pushing force, and the rear part of which is projected out to the outside face of the rope receiver 1, and has a hooking part on the rear end thereof; wherein a rope threading opening is formed between the rope receiver 1 and the rope holder, and a pull string 10 is attached to the vicinity of the above-mentioned hooking part.
