SOLUTION: A mechanism 100 for adjusting the interval between an ink head 21a and a sheet P can also adjust the interval between the ink head 21a and the cleaning head 31a of a maintenance unit 31. Consequently, the interval between the ink head 21a and the sheet P is set appropriately depending on the thickness of the sheet P and the interval between the ink head 21a and the cleaning head 31a is also set appropriately depending on the thickness of the sheet P.
