TREATMENT METHOD FOR LEACHATE AND DEVICE FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for leachate which efficiently cleans the leachate by improving the oxidation decomposition efficiency by the hydroxyl radicals generated from ozone and hydrogen peroxide. SOLUTION: The hydrogen peroxide is added from a hydrogen peroxide adding means 4 to the leachate 2 flowing through an inflow pipe 3 into an oxydation treatment vessel 1. While the leachate is circulated by a circulating means 10, the gaseous ozone is aerated and is added thereto from an ozone adding means 7. The pH of the leachate 2 flowing in a circulating pipe 12 of the circulating means 10 is detected by a pH detecting means 14. An acid or alkali is added from a pH regulating means to the leachate 2 to regulate its pH to 7.0 or over and <=9.5. The organic chlorine compound and organic mater in the leachate are oxidation decomposed by the hydroxy radicals efficiently formed in the co-presence of the hydrogen peroxide and the ozone. The oxidation decomposition efficiency is improved and the sure cleaning treatment of the leachate 2 is made possible.
