PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium, during a long term storage of which a photo-deterioration can be prevented from developing and, in addition, neither recording function nor reproducing function are impaired. SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium, by which the recording of information is executed by partially changing the optical characteristics of a recording layer through the irradiation of laser beam over the recording layer, which is formed on a substrate and includes organic coloring matters, the recording layer includes, as a stabilizer for stabilizing the organic coloring matter, a metal phthalocyanine, which has a degradation starting temperature higher than that of the organic coloring matter and a maximum absorption peak absorption curve in an absorption spectrum, which intersects with the maximum peak absorption curve of the organic coloring matter at a longer wavelength side. |
