PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a wheelchair housing space in an electric train, and to easily take a wheelchair in and out of the space. SOLUTION: A recessed part 4 being a wheelchair housing box is arranged in a part on the side for contacting with a floor 3 of a partition wall 1 of a passenger room in the electric train. A baseplate 5 is installed in the recessed part 4 so as to be rotatable in the inside outside directions of the recessed part 4 in parallel to the floor 3 with a support shaft 10 arranged in a lengthwise directional one side end part as a rotary fulcrum. Holding frames 6 and 6 of the wheelchair are arranged on the upper surface of the baseplate 5, and casters are installed in a proper part of an under surface. A door 8 having a closing mechanism is erected in an opening side end part of the recessed part 4 of the upper surface of the baseplate 5.
