PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight inexpensive machine body having low gravity center and effective for rationalizing the transfer from a picking apparatus of a traveling tea-picking machine to a leaf container to increase the capacity of the container and rationalizing the reloading of the leaves from the leaf container to a transportation container placed on a truck. SOLUTION: A leaf container is directly connected to a picking machine and the picked leaves are loaded in the container by blowing up strong wind from an air blowing port opened under the connection part into the leaf container. The rear wall of the leaf container is an endless conveyor belt to discharge the loaded leaves. As an alternative, the bottom plate of the leaf container is constructed of a material having small friction coefficient and the leaves on the bottom plate are pushed out by moving the sidewalls.
