<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart satisfactory gas-barrier properties to a multiplayer container, which comprises a thermoplastic gas-barrier resin such as polyamide MXD 6, by uniformly and finely dispersing layer silicate into the thermoplastic gas-barrier resin. SOLUTION: The multiplayer container is a three-ply container consisting of an outermost layer, an inner most layer, and an intermediate layer arranged between the outermost layer and the innermost layer. The outermost layer and the innermost layer each comprise a thermoplastic polyester resin. The intermediate layer comprises a thermoplastic gas-barrier composite material. The thermoplastic gas-barrier composite material includes 90 to 99.9% by mass of a gas-barrier resin and 10 to 0.1% by mass of layer silicate.</p> |
