PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a joining state of a driving shaft joined to an electric motor, and to improve shock absorptivity by both a shaft directional movement and a rotational directional movement of a driving gear with simple constitution in a motor-driven power steering device capable of absorbing a shock while allowing the shaft directional movement and the rotational directional movement of the driving gear arranged on the driving shaft joined to the electric motor. SOLUTION: In this motor-driven power steering device 10, the driving shaft 32 is joined to an output shaft 31 of the electric motor 30 so as to be capable of transmitting only torque without relatively moving in the shaft direction, and a worm gear 37 (the driving gear) is elastically connected to the driving shaft 32 in both the shaft direction and the rotational direction. |
