PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate generation of twisting in a new wire rope after the wire rope is replaced, and prevent changing before and after the replacement of a position relating to a hoisting accessory of a crane hook. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a holder 11 holding a drum 7 winding a wire rope and a frame 12 holding this holder 11 so that it can be rotated in a plane orthogonal to a takeout direction of the wire rope wound to a barrel part of the drum 7. The holder 11 is provided with a support shaft 11c holding the drum 7 so as to be rotatable with the shaft serving as the center. Accordingly, generation of twisting in the new wire rope at the time of replacement therewith by making the holder rotate in a direction twisting the new wire rope due to its twist is prevented, and necessity for also work rotating a crane hook so as to be conformed to a hoisting hole of a hoisting accessory by a worker after ending replacement work is eliminated.
