PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide woody floor material, and its manufacturing method, wherein though a width of a groove formed by combining a V-groove or a U-groove and an R-groove generates a torn surface due to a cutting edge, it is excellent in a walking property and decoratively excellent, and irregularity in coating is difficult to be generated. SOLUTION: A woody floor material is provided wherein a straight line part of an obtuse angle state is at specific intervals formed and a decorative groove of connecting a curved line part is formed from the end point of the straight line part. For the method for manufacturing the woody floor material, obtuse angular curved line parts opposed to each other at specific intervals with respect to a groove center line are ground by an edge tool on a surface of the woody floor material to form a first decorative groove. Thereafter, a slant surface of the first decorative surface is polished by a ring polisher to form a straight line part, and a second decorative groove is formed. Further, the straight line part is formed by pressing to form the decorative groove.
