PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost mist jet type recording head that has a simple structure and can be readily made, and a recorder using the same. SOLUTION: This recorder comprises an oscillatory wave reflector 5 which is so constituted that a pair of long straight members 2, 2 are provided in parallel being adjacent to each other, at least one of opposing side wall faces 2a, 2a of the member is formed in a concave shape and an ink chamber 3 is disposed between the side wall faces 2a, 2a. The recorder further comprises a nozzle plate 8 having a via-hole 6 continuously provided on the top face of the oscillatory wave reflector 5 right above the gap between the long straight members 2, 2 along a longitudinal direction of the member 2, a plurality of diaphragms 11, 11,... which are provided at the lower face side of the oscillatory wave reflector 5 with an insulation material 9 therebetween and are arranged at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the member 2 and a voltage applying means that applies a voltage to each of the plurality of diaphragms in accordance with recording data. |
