PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a veneer decorated plywood which is free from cracks, blisters, and teariness and is highly resistant to water. SOLUTION: An adhesive composition for a veneer decorated plywood is provided which is prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. amino resin with 20-2,000 pts.wt. aqueous resin emulsion and/or aqueous latex, 0.01-25 pts.wt. polyfunctional aziridine compound having at lest two aziridinyl group, and 1-100 pts.wt. at least one modifier selected from the group consisting of polyalklyene oxides and their derivatives, glycerol and its derivatives, and if necessary, alkylene glycols. A veneer decorated plywood is provided by using the composition.
