PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical apparatus having a cord convenient for handling and carrying and a tying method of the cord. SOLUTION: This electrical apparatus having the cord is provided with a tying band comprising a hook-and-loop fastener that comprises a projecting surface tape and a recessed surface tape, where one end of the back surface of the projecting surface tape is adhered to one end of the back surface of the recessed surface tape. Preferably, this tying band has a loop structure and is mounted on the apparatus by passing the cord through the loop, and the electrical apparatus has a recessed part for storing the cord. The cord is wound around the recessed part, the tying band is wound further around it, and the projecting surface of the tying band is pressed onto the recessed surface for tying the tying band.
