PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position a butting surface in a simple stopper 59 at a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the cutting length. SOLUTION: A simply fixing block 51 is provided on a side gauge 43 in a shearing machine 1 movably in the longitudinal direction, a pressing screw 53 pressed against the side gauge 43 is screwed in a female screw part in this simply fixing block 51, a base portion of an operation lever 55 is integrally provided on a head of the pressing screw 53, and the simple stopper 59 having the butting surface to be butted to a forward end surface of a work W is provided on the simply fixing block 51.
