PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold rolling method capable of preventing slip/ meandering of a plate at a cold rolling equipment inlet side and preventing a gouging flaw generated in the case of paying out at the cold rolling equipment inlet side as well as a rolling flaw generated in the case of cold rolling the gouging flaw. SOLUTION: In a method to use the cold rolling equipment, in which pickling equipment and cold rolling equipment are not continuously arranged, to weld a succeeding coil pickled to a preceding coil pickled and to conduct continuous cold rolling, a pickled coil, in which a top section and bottom section only of the coil are oil-coated, is paid out, after the oil coated section only is oil removed, cold rolling is conducted.
