PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a uniaxial crushing machine constituted to smoothly discharge the waste pieces crushed by the crushing machine from a discharge screen by preventing the waste pieces from being nabbed by the small holes of the discharge screen and from clogging these holes. SOLUTION: The uniaxial crushing machine is constituted by disposing a rotary rotor 5 having plural rotary blades 5a between a base plate 4 and the side wall of a main body frame 2 below a supply hopper 1, providing the end of the base plate 4 with a stationary blade 6 for primary crushing and a stationary blade 7 for secondary crushing in position symmetrical with the rotary rotor 5 as a center and providing the lower side of the rotary rotor 5 with the discharge screen 8. The discharge screen 8 is constituted by disposing screen members 8a having the groove shapes corresponding to the shapes of the rotary blades 5a in juxtaposition. Slits are formed between the screen member 8a, by which the discharge of the materials to be crushed is made possible and the treating ability of the soft materials is improved.
