PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system and an imaging apparatus which can easily output outputs easy for users to see when a function of forming images corresponding to a plurality of documents on one recording sheet (Nin1 function) is used. SOLUTION: Delimiting data indicating a method of arranging subject images on the recording sheet when the Nin1 function is utilized are obtained from document image data (S103). A delimiting level is distinguished from information included in the delimiting data and indicating delimiting levels of a plurality of kinds (S105). An arrangement of images to be formed on the recording sheet is controlled on the basis of the delimiting data and the delimiting level.
