PYROLYSIS TREATING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ORGANIC SLUDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method and device for organic sludge which subject materials to be treated containing organic sludge of a high moisture content to pyrolysis treatment in a short period of 12 to 24 hours and perform the pyrolysis treatment to obviate the occurrence of dioxins and other hazardous materials. SOLUTION: The organic sludge is heated under agitation to 100 to 250 deg.C, more preferably 140 to 200 deg.C, by which the organic matter is mineralized to the extent of obviating the occurrence of nitrogen starvation in soil. The organic sludge is thus subjected to the pyrolysis treatment to the extent that volatile materials to be the source for generation of malodors are mostly volatilized and the generation of the malodors is averted even when farms are manured.
